Alayne Crawford is a seasoned government affairs, organizational strategy, and corporate communications leader with extensive experience advising organizations at the intersection of business, policy, and operational growth. She is recognized for helping organizations strengthen the people, processes, governance structures, and strategic relationships required to achieve long-term success. Alayne previously served as Lead Client Partner at IBM Canada, where she led complex client engagements and strategic growth initiatives with executive leadership teams. Prior to that, she was Head of Government & Regulatory Affairs at IBM Canada, managing senior government relationships and supporting high-stakes policy and market engagements. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Shaw Communications and the Canadian Automobile Association, and also served in communications and operations roles for the Prime Minister of Canada. Alayne currently serves on several boards, including the Canadian Lung Association and Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan). She holds an MBA from Queen’s University, a BA from Carleton University, is fluent in English and French, and is currently learning Mandarin.
