About Us

Homeward Public Affairs is one of Canada’s fastest-growing government relations firms. We launched in 2024 with a mission: help organizations doing meaningful work move government, influence policy, and make this country a better place to live and do business.

Our team works across sectors including housing, health, Indigenous economic development, and workforce development. We work closely with nonprofits, Indigenous communities, municipalities, and mission-driven organizations to navigate government and advance major initiatives.

We’re building a firm that combines strategic government relations with thoughtful public engagement, policy insight, and convening power. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for someone who wants to help support how our ideas, work, and insights are shared with the broader public policy ecosystem.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring an Engagement and Communications Coordinator to support Homeward’s public-facing communications and engagement initiatives.

This role focuses on coordinating communications activities, managing digital platforms, and helping ensure that Homeward’s ideas and insights are clearly and consistently shared with the broader public policy community.

You will work closely with the firm’s leadership and team to support communications initiatives, coordinate public-facing content, and assist with the development of new platforms that showcase Homeward’s work and network of experts.

This is a coordination-focused role that emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

This role will play an important part in ensuring that Homeward’s work is consistently translated into clear, high-quality communications and shared effectively with the audiences we engage.

It may be particularly appealing to someone who has worked in a political office, government relations environment, or communications role and is interested in applying those skills in the private sector.
